Sixers travel up North to square off with Toronto Raptors in postseason rematch

It took some time, but the Sixers finally got their first win of the season under their belts.
Fresh off taking care of business against the Indiana Pacers, the team heads up north to square off against the Toronto Raptors. This will be the first meeting between these two teams since they met in the first round of the playoffs last season. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m.
For the first time this year, the Sixers might be short-handed. As of the latest injury report, backup guard De’Anthony Melton is listed as doubtful with right adductor tightness. The Raptors might also be without some key pieces as Scottie Barnes (ankle) is questionable and Otto Porter Jr. (hamstring) is doubtful.

Doc Rivers on the chopping block?
Since his arrival in Philadelphia, Doc Rivers has been a bit of a polarizing figure. Despite being named as one of the top 15 coaches in history last year, many feel he isn’t the guy to lead the Sixers to their championship aspirations.
Following the Sixers’ 0-3 start to the year, the talk about Rivers potentially being fired got even louder. In fact, ESPN’s NBA insider Zach Lowe brought up that there’s chatter around the league about the Hall of Fame coach possibly getting relieved of his duties.
Bill Simmons has been saying for weeks on his podcast Doc could be the first coach fired. Certainly people are chattering about that in the league ecosystem, but I don’t know how much that chatter is actually reality and this is Daryl Morey’s team.
It seems a bit premature to talk about a coach firing, but if this team can’t get back on track soon, a major change might be needed.
