Eagles Rumors: Potential RB trade target emerging from San Francisco

Yesterday, we covered five potential trade targets the Eagles could pursue at running back.
Today, a new candidate has emerged as we approach the November 1 trade deadline.
49ers’ running back Jeff Wilson had a productive start to the 2022 season, totaling over 400 scrimmage yards and 4 TDs through the first five weeks. However, with Christian McCaffrey coming to town and the looming return of Elijah Mitchell, Wilson appears to be the odd man out of a now-crowded backfield.
Due to the logjam, San Francisco has reportedly been entertaining offers for the 26-year-old back.
The #49ers have received calls on RB Jeff Wilson and are willing to listen to potential offers, per sources. Wilson is playing well – ranking 11th in rushing with 454 yards – but the arrival of Christian McCaffrey and Elijah Mitchell's close return has crowded the backfield.

Elijah Mitchell has two years left on his contract, making Wilson’s expiring deal a logical trade piece. The Eagles reportedly have interest in adding another back to lighten the load for Miles Sanders; they could do much worse than the NFL’s 11th-leading rusher.
Following the Robert Quinn trade, Philadelphia still has six picks in next year’s draft at their disposal.
