Nick Castellanos comes through in the clutch yet again, trolls the cheating Houston Astros

The Philadelphia Phillies stormed back to win Game 1 of the 2022 World Series after falling behind 5-0 to the Houston Astros, winning by a final score of 6-5.
There are plenty of heroes from last night’s game, but in this post we’re focusing on Nick Castellanos. With the Phillies down five runs in the top of the fourth inning, Nick Castellanos finally got the Fightins on the board after poking an RBI single to left field to get the rally started.

From there, the Phillies would go on to score an additional two runs in the fourth and then another two in the top of the fifth inning. Fast forward to the bottom of the ninth inning, and Nick Castellanos made ANOTHER epic play in left field with a sliding catch that gave me flashbacks to Game 1 of the NLDS.

Side Note: Not sure if I can get on board with the “Nick Castellanos, of all people” call on that one. Again, we’ve seen this before.

The Phillies obviously went on to win the game in extras thanks to a solo shot from JT Realmuto. As if Nick Castellanos couldn’t be any more cool, he then popped up and lifted his shirt up in the direction of the Houston Astros dugout and gave them a quick reminder about how big of scumbags they are, by showing them there’s no wires attached to his chest.

The best thing about postseason baseball is the fact that we get to regroup this afternoon and get back after it tonight. Game 2 begins at 8:03PM with Zack Wheeler on the mound.
The Philadelphia Phillies will look to take a commanding 2-0 series lead before heading back to Citizens Bank Park for games 3, 4, and 5.
Welcome to the moment.
What a bum article. Philly was asking for his head a two games layers
