Report: Sixers guard Tyrese Maxey out 3-4 weeks with fracture in left foot

The Sixers will now have to navigate life without James Harden and Tyrese Maxey.

According to multiple reports, Maxey is expected to miss 3-4 weeks with a small fracture in his left foot.

Maxey left in the second quarter of last night’s win vs. Milwaukee after injuring his left foot and was quickly ruled out for the rest of the night. Early reports indicate that no surgery is necessary, and Maxey will be reevaluated in two weeks.

Another significant blow to the Sixers, who are already without Harden after he suffered a right foot tendon strain on November 2nd. Harden told reporters on Thursday he’s “on pace” to return within the original recovery timeline (approximately one month).
