Budweiser flips the script on Qatar’s alcohol ban, decides to give all the beer purchased to whoever wins the World Cup

Last week right before the World Cup started, the host country of Qatar completely pumped the brakes on selling alcohol at soccer games, pissing off anyone who had the dumb idea to travel there to watch their country play.
It was a HUGE slap in the face to Budweiser, who has been a World Cup sponsor for over 35 years and paid that corrupt FIFA organization around $75M to be a sponsor again this year.
The first response from Budweiser after the news broke that there would be no beer sold at games in Qatar was simply the following tweet, which has since been deleted.Â

Funny for sure, but now, in an almost genius PR move, Budweiser flipped the script and has decided to give away ALL THE BEER purchased for the World Cup games to whoever actually brings home the World Cup Trophy when it’s all said and done.

Now are talking.
Of course, America is likely shit out of luck. The vibes are incredibly low right now after a miserable second half against Wales today forced a 1-1 draw. We walked away with one point instead of three like those pesky Englishmen were able to do in their first World Cup match. Now, we have some work to do on Friday.
Side Note: Obviously it won’t happen, but what if Qatar won the World Cup? Then all these Budweisers would stay completely put and no one would drink them anyways, right? Well maybe not. After last night with the video of the English lads partying with the Sheikh’s son in Qatar, it looks like there is some alcohol assumption happening in that horrible host country after all.
Anyways, we’ll have to wait and see who gets all those beers. Until then, it looks like fans are sticking with Budweiser Zero?
