Georges Niang terrorized Ben Simmons and Kevin Durant in last night’s 115-106 Sixers win over the Nets

The Philadelphia 76ers stunned the Brooklyn Nets last night thanks to Tobias Harris and the bench unit.
Paul Reed and Georges Niang led a strong bench effort, combining to shoot 13-for-20 from the floor for 35 points, 15 rebounds, three steals, and two blocks. Niang specifically, scored 16 points and brought a ton of energy to the floor for the Sixers, hitting 4-of-5 from beyond the arc and talking a whole lot of shit to both Kevin Durant and Ben Simmons.
Niang joined the 76ers last season and as we all know, Ben Simmons quit on his team and this city and never stepped on a basketball court with Georges, which makes the fact that Niang absolutely hates his guts even better.

Really, it all started with this bullshit Flagrant 1 call on Niang when he was dealing with Ben Simmons under the basket. Georges and Simmons traded a few innocent bumps, before Simmons basically grabbed Niang’s arm and pulled off one of the best acting jobs Hollywood has ever seen to force the flagrant foul.
Honestly, Simmons, who the jury is still out on if he actually enjoys and/or wants to play basketball, might be better off in LA on the big screen after this one.

Regardless of the bullshit call, that really sent Niang on a war path the rest of the game and Simmons wasn’t the only one who was hearing it. Kevin Durant got his fair share of shit talk as well.

All of the sudden, the NBA’s new greatest rivalry had begun between none other than Georges Niang and Kevin Durant.

Niang hit ANOTHER three and stared down KD yet again.

The Sixers ended up walking away with an upset win over the Nets, who entered the night eight point favorites against a team with only one true starter in Tobias Harris while they had Durant, Irving, and Simmons all playing.
It was honestly embarrassing for Brooklyn, and the greatest thing ever for the 76ers and city of Philadelphia.
Niang, who we all know is a professional shit talker, certainly didn’t disappoint and the 76ers will need more of that tonight when they play the Charlotte Hornets.
