76ers fail to complete comeback, fall to the Memphis Grizzlies 117-109

The Philadelphia 76ers continued their three-game road trip last night in Memphis and dropped their second straight game to the Grizzles 117-109.
Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr dominated the Sixers in the first half and the Grizzles managed to hold off a late comeback chance from the Sixers to earn the win. On the night, Morant scored 28 points, Jackson Jr added 22 points, while Steven Adams scored nine points and notched 16 rebounds, six assists, three steals, and three blocks in the paint for the Grizzlies.
Joel Embiid led the Sixers with 35 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists. Tobias Harris added 21 points and 11 rebounds, connecting on 5-of-6 shots from beyond the arc.

Two other Sixers were in double figures with Shake Milton scoring 17 points and De’Anthony Melton with 13 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

76ers at Rockets Monday Night
The Sixers will look to salvage their three-game road trip against the Rockets on Monday night. Luckily, it looks like James Harden is still targeted to return to the Sixers for the game in Houston.Â
