Eagles WR AJ Brown

WATCH: Titans defensive back tries to injure AJ Brown during Week 13 matchup

If you can’t beat ’em, try to injure them…. I guess?

Eagles wideout AJ Brown had a field day against his former team on Sunday, torching Tennessee’s secondary to the tune of 119 yards and two touchdowns on eight receptions. It was a beautiful sight to behold for Eagles fans everywhere.

Titans defensive back Andrew Adams, however, was not very happy with Brown’s assault on his defense.

In the third quarter, after AJ Brown had already scored twice, he hauled in another reception to move the chains. In an attempt to bring the All-Pro wideout to the ground, Adams lunged at Brown’s legs and held on for dear life. In the process, Adams pulled the classic gator roll maneuver by rolling his body and twisting AJ Brown’s ankle.

AJ Brown was clearly upset after Adams pulled this BS on him

For those unaware, the alligator roll is an infamously dirty play in the NFL. It’s injured countless players and the ones who attempt to pull it off typically face a hefty fine. There’s no doubt Adams should face similar punishment for this play.

If you’ll recall, Adams actually spent time with the Eagles last offseason. He was with the team all throughout training camp before being waived on August 31 of last year. He’s been on four teams since, with Tennessee being the latest stop.

Maybe Adams has some bad blood with Philly after they cut him. Who knows. It doesn’t even matter, really. The dude tried to injure one of the best wide receivers in the league and it was clear as day. Fine his ass.
