It would be a SHAME if Joel Embiid got a look at Kylian Mbappe’s Top 5 NBA Players list

Kylian Mbappe recently caught up with the NBA France contingent and shared his current Top 5 Players in the NBA.
Mbappe, a French native, listed the following NBA players in his Top 5.
Kylian Mbappe: Top 5 NBA Players
- Lebron James
- Kevin Durant
- Giannis
- Luka Doncic
- Jayson Tatum
Okay. That’s fine.
I’m not here to do what everyone else does and argues about who’s the GOAT or the MVP of the NBA, or who’s Top 5 blah blah blah. All that is incredibly boring. I’d rather focus on the terrible business decision Mbappe made by not selecting Joel Embiid as one of his Top 5 NBA Players.Â
Mbappe a French soccer world superstar didn’t even think to put the best French basketball player and arguably the best basketball player in the world on his Top 5 list? Well, that seems a tad bit disrespectful and it would be a huge shame if Embiid, a huge soccer fan, took notice and decided that he would rather play in America on Team USA, now wouldn’t it?
Earlier this year, it was announced that Embiid was granted French citizenship and planned on playing for the national team in the next Olympic Games. Shortly after, it was then reported that Embiid also gained U.S. Citizenship and that Team USA was actually looking to recruit him away from the French to join the national team here.
Honestly, I couldn’t think of any better material to present to Embiid as to why he should ditch the French and join the Red White and Blue. I am ready to give the reigning Eastern Conference Player of the Month the respect he deserves here in America. In case you missed it, Embiid earned the honor after leading all NBA players in scoring at 35.4 points per contest on .545 shooting from the floor and .417 from three-point range in December.
Unfortunately, it appears that Mbappe knows as much about American basketball and culture as the United States knows about France and soccer. Trust me, that’s not saying much. Luckily for Joel Embiid, here in America, well, Philadelphia, we acknowledge him as the best basketball player on planet Earth and would welcome him to Team USA with open arms.Â
Say it with me, Joel: USA! USA! USA!
