Roster Moves: Eagles activate CJ Gardner-Johnson, Robert Quinn ahead of Week 18 matchup vs. Giants

The Philadelphia Eagles made a handful of roster moves ahead of their Week 18 contest with the New York Giants.
After getting their 21-day practice windows activated earlier this week, both CJ Gardner-Johnson and Robert Quinn have been activated to 53-man roster. They’ll both be back on the field Sunday.
Eagles Roster Moves
Along with activating CGJ and Quinn, the team also signed P Brett Kern to the active roster for Sunday. LB Shaun Bradley and DE Janarius Robinson, both of whom missed practice time this week, have been place on IR. They’ll be forced to miss the rest of the season.
Getting Gardner-Johnson and Quinn back in the lineup is a huge boost for Jonathan Gannon’s defense. CGJ is still tied for the league-lead in interceptions this year, despite missing about a month of playing time. Although Quinn hasn’t lived up to expectations since joining the Eagles, he’ll provide solid depth for the defensive line. With Josh Sweat’s injury status for the postseason up in the air, the Eagles will need all the depth they can get.
