NFL Playoffs: AFC and NFC Wild Card Weekend Matchups and Playoff Standings

Week 18 is almost over and the 2022-23 NFL Playoffs will begin next weekend. With the outcome of tonight’s Packers and Lions game being the only regular season matchup left that means something for the playoffs, the AFC and NFC playoff standings and Wild Card games are all but set.
The Miami Dolphins managed to leapfrog the New England Patriots to earn the No. 7 seed in the AFC while the Philadelphia Eagles clinched a first round bye and the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
Tonight, the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions will play on Sunday Night Football. If the Packers win, they will make the cut for the last NFC Wild Card team. With a loss, the Seattle Seahawks will be the final team to draw a playoff spot.
The Road to Super Bowl LVII runs through Philadelphia
The Eagles, 49ers, and Vikings all won today, which kept them locked into their playoff spots as the three best teams in the NFC. Philadelphia claimed the No. 1 seed with a win over the New York Giants and earned a first round bye in the process.

In the AFC, the Dolphins secured the final Wild Card spot with an 11-6 win over the New York Jets today. They needed a little help and got it with the Buffalo Bills win over the New England Patriots.
Yesterday, the Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Tennessee Titans to claim their first AFC South title since 2017 and the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Raiders to clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC and a first round bye.
