Matisse Thybulle, Sixers take shot at Ben Simmons ahead of their five-game road trip

The Sixers hopped on a plane today and will travel to Utah to take on the Jazz tomorrow night at 9 PM.
The team posted multiple pictures of guys boarding the plane like they always do ahead of road trips, and everything seemed fine. Matisse Thybulle was pictured posing with a bag of Middle Child Clubhouse in which multiple players on the team signed their names, including “MVP,” Shake Milton, a picture of a Minivan, and more.

Just a regular bag of Middle Child, right? Wrong … zoom in.

Take a look at the bottom right corner of the bag. I don’t have the best eye-sight, but that damn sure looks like Simmons with a big fat X going through the middle of it.
As we all remember so fondly, Simmons essentially forced his way off the Sixers last season after crumbling in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Despite the Sixers’ best efforts to retain him, Simmons refused to play another game in a Sixers jersey, forcing GM Daryl Morey to trade him to Brooklyn for perennial All-Star James Harden.
It’s safe to say there’s no love lost between the former No. 1 overall pick and his former teammates. Simmons returns to the Wells Fargo Center on January 25th for his first regular season game against the team since the blockbuster trade at last year’s trade deadline.
