Sunday Night Football Betting Preview: Joe Burrow and the Bengals crash into Roquan Smith and the Ravens

The third and final division battle takes place on Sunday Night Football with Joe Burrow and the high-powered Bengals’ offense crashing into Roquan Smith and the Baltimore Ravens’ stout defense for the second straight week.
Ravens at Bengals (-8.5) | O/U 40.5
Cincy and Baltimore met seven days ago in Week 18, when Ravens’ third string quarterback Anthony Brown performed admirably despite having one of the most inaccurate throwing days in NFL history (19-34, 43%).
Lamar Jackson is OUT with Grade 2 PCL sprain leaving Tyler Huntley (shoulder/wrist) under center to start the game against the Bengals. Anthony Brown will serve as the backup quarterback for Baltimore. Without Jackson, the Ravens’ game plan should focus heavily on JK Dobbins and the run game.

Run, Run, Run: JK Dobbins out of 12 formations (two tight ends) to control the clock and keep Joe Burrow and the Bengals’ offense off the field should give the Ravens a fighting chance tonight.
Plus, the two tight end set worked great against Cincy in Week 18 with Mark Andrews and the somewhat unknown tight end Isaiah Likely both performing well against the Bengals.
Likely, a fourth round draft pick out of Coastal Carolina played like a vet, hauling in eight catches on 13 targets for 103 yards and touchdown. And what do you know, the Bengals have consistently struggled against tight ends this season.
Joe Burrow is averaging over 277 passing yards with 17 touchdowns to five interceptions since Week 11, after the Bengals’ bye week. Not sure if he followed the Aaron Rodgers path with ayahuasca but it’s working. Burrow and his flock of high-flying weapons will look to take advantage of a Ravens defense that all things considered, has allowed passing defense that’s allowed the fewest touchdowns since Week 3.
