Joel Embiid drains jumper with 5 seconds left, Sixers start road trip off with a win in Utah 118-117

The Philadelphia 76ers escaped Utah with a 118-117 victory over the Jazz last night thanks to a Joel Embiid jumper with 5.7 seconds left on the clock.

Embiid finished the night with 30 points and seven rebounds, while James Harden led the way for the Sixers with 31 points and 11 assists. Harden dominated the fourth quarter, scoring 18 points in the final frame. At one point, he accounted for 16 straight points for the Sixers over 3.5 minutes to keep the Jazz from taking the lead until late in the game.
Jordan Clarkson dropped 38 points with nine rebounds to lead the Jazz. Talen Horton-Tucker scored a season-high 20 points off the bench while Mike Conley added 14 points and eight assists.
For the Sixers, Tyrese Maxey scored 21 points and Shake Milton provided the team a major lift off the bench, scoring 17 points with four rebounds and two assists.
