Playoff Picture: Eagles open up as heavy favorite in Divisional Round vs. Giants

Following their 31-24 victory over the No. 3 seed Vikings, the No. 6 seed New York Giants will move on to the divisional round to face the Philadelphia Eagles Saturday night at 8:15 PM.
This marks the third time in six weeks that the NFC East rivals will face one another, with Philadelphia winning both regular season matchups. Philadelphia dominated in Week 14 behind 144 yards from Miles Sanders, then beat the Giants’ reserves in Week 18 to secure the NFC’s No. 1 overall seed.
Giants QB Daniel Jones impressed in his playoff debut, completing 24/35 passes for 301 yards and two TDs while adding 78 yards on the ground. New York won’t have the luxury of facing the league’s 31st-ranked pass defense next week, however, as Philadelphia allows just 179.8 per game through the air.
The priority on defense should be containing Jones, as the Eagles have allowed 448 rushing yards to QBs during the regular season, the fourth-most of any team in football.
Per DraftKings Sportsbook, the Eagles have opened up as -7.5 point favorites:
- Moneyline: Eagles: -350 // Giants: +290
- Spread: Eagles: -7.5 // Giants: +7.5
- Total: Over // Under 48.0
