Nic Claxton joins Kyrie Irving, takes a shot at James Harden for not being committed to the Nets

Nic Claxton spoke to the media last night and piggybacked on Kyrie Irving’s diss of James Harden and last year’s Brooklyn Nets team last week.
Nic Claxton Takes Shot at James Harden
“Well, last year it was, it was just kind of a toxic environment, didn’t know if everybody wanted to be here at the time this year. There’s no divide between everybody that’s out there. We’re gonna figure it out.”
Cool.
Just so we’re clear: Nic Claxton is currently averaging 12 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while playing nearly 29 minutes each night. Claxton has played in 40 of the Nets’ 43 games this season.
Again, Claxton isn’t the first Net to take a shot at James Harden over the past week. A few days ago, Kyrie Irving slammed Harden during a media availability, saying he’s consistently in the lineup and they don’t have anybody “half-in” on the roster anymore.

With Kevin Durant out of the lineup with an injury, it’s clear as day that the inmates are now running the asylum in Brooklyn.
Honestly, the Nets are cowards. Always have been and always will be. James Harden has been on a tear this season in Philadelphia and has been nothing but a world-class teammate. Harden is averaging 21 points, nearly seven rebounds, and 11.2 assists in the month of January while shooting 40% from three point range.
The Sixers are playing their best basketball of the 2022-23 season and have now won eight out of their last ten games. With the Brooklyn Nets losing three straight, the Sixers moved up in the rankings to third in the Eastern Conference at 28-16.
Their tour of the West continues tomorrow night against the Portland Trailblazers.
