Xfinity Live continues to make all the wrong moves, will host a San Francisco 49ers Invasion Party today

Here comes Xfinity Live with yet another terrible idea. According to a few images going around social media, Xfinity is hosting a sponsored party for San Francisco 49ers fans starting at 11AM today.
According to this poster, the 49ers have a fan group that schedules “invasions” in the away city the day before their team plays in whatever they are traveling to. So of course, Xfinity Live extended them an invitation, while likely collecting a pretty payday in the process.
According to Facebook there are 196 people who confirmed they are going.
Why does this 49ers group think it’s called in invasion when they are having an “invasion party” the day before the actual NFC Championship? Your guess is as good as mine. The entire thing seems extra soft, but I would rather just talk about how Xfinity remains the worst because 49ers fans, we know are corny as hell already.
The Philadelphia 76ers playing the Denver Nuggets at the Wells Fargo Center at 3PM. Embiid vs Jokic. Now they have to go down there and deal with this nonsense.
Great job, Xfinity.

After letting Giants fans host private events on game day last Saturday while leaving Eagles fans waiting in hour-long lines just to get inside and wait yet another hour to even grab a single beer, I really hope this isn’t Xfinity’s resolution to that problem by allowing 49ers’ fans to do that today instead of tomorrow.
Xfinity Live continues to be nothing more than a gigantic cash grab for whatever Baltimore-based company that owns it, while time and time again, failing to have any sense of self-awareness for the city they are in and the patrons that go there year round.
It’s honestly not even that hard of a marketing strategy. Man up, get a few stories out there about how you are refusing to host private events for opposing fanbases and just like that, you’d become a legendary Philadelphia establishment.
But nope, instead, Xfinity Live continues to do this, they argue with people like EROCK on Twitter, reportedly treat their employees like shit, while charging Philadelphia fans $100 tickets to “skip the line” only to get inside and still have to wait an hour before they can purchase a single beverage.
It’s time for a change. I don’t care who buys it, but someone should step up and get the only complex outside of the stadiums in South Philly out of the hands of some company in Baltimore and turn it into a Philadelphia safe house for those who are spending a shit ton of money to head down to the stadiums to watch their beloved sports teams play.
Tomorrow, I urge everyone heading down to South Philadelphia to just tailgate in the parking lots. Befriend fellow Eagles fans and enjoy yourselves outside. Stay away from Xfinity Live.
