Super Bowl LVII: Eagles enter as 2-point favorites over KC; Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes sit atop the MVP odds

Super Bowl LVII is set.
The Philadelphia Eagles put on an absolute clinic yesterday vs. the San Francisco 49ers, winning 31-7 and claiming their second NFC title in five years. Philly will head back to the Super Bowl with just five players remaining from their 2017-’18 team – Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson, Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, and Jake Elliot.
As for the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals battled until the very end, but it was ultimately Andy Reid and KC who came out on top, winning 23-20. The Chiefs will head back to their third Super Bowl in four years as Patrick Mahomes looks to get his second ring.

Two Eagles players really jump out when first looking at this list.
- Jalen Hurts +110
- Haason Reddick +5000
Kenneth Gainwell +13000 is a huge flier that will 100 percent be going in the bet slip, although it’s nearly impossible for a running back to win Super Bowl MVP. There have been just six in 56 Super Bowls.
Super Bowl MVP Notes
- 11 out of the last 16 Super Bowl MVPs have been quarterbacks. Cooper Kupp (WR), Julian Edelman (WR), Von Miller (LB), Malcolm Smith (LB), and Santonio Holmes (WR) are the five non-quarterbacks to take home the award.
- A running back has not won Super Bowl MVP since 1998 (Terrell Davis, Denver)
- Julian Edelman won Super Bowl LIII MVP with zero touchdowns
