Kansas City Chiefs fan breaks the golden rule, puts a Chiefs flag on the Rocky Statue just two days before Super Bowl LVII

Opposing fan bases simply never learn. After weeks of discussing the Rocky Statue and why it’s a bad idea to screw around with it ahead of an important sports game against a Philadelphia team, the Kansas City Chiefs and their fans don’t seem to care in the slightest.
Chiefs merchandise has officially been placed on the Rocky Statue
There was an investigation into a mysterious homemade Chiefs shirt that was placed on the Rocky statue just a few days after the NFC and AFC Championship games. We later learned that the shirt was an inside job by an Eagles fan…but not today.
A Chiefs towel has been placed on the Rocky statue, and a Waldo look-alike in a Chiefs beanie seems to be the culprit.
When will these people learn? Obviously, it’s been made a big deal recently not to put the opposing team’s gear on the statue. Hell, even Travis Kelce told his own fans not to because it certainly hasn’t worked out for any team ever.
History speaks for itself.
Fanbases who mess with Rocky tend to get their asses beat. Just last weekend, 49ers fans threw a t-shirt on the Rocky statue, making a crucial mistake ahead of the NFC Championship. By now, we all know how that turned out for San Francisco, and we’ve officially added them to the “fuck around and find out” list.
