To clear a roster spot and open up a 2-way contract, the Sixers have waived Julian Champagnie.
Mac McClung has been tearing it up for the Blue Coats, averaging 17.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 5.8 assists in 18 total games played (9 starts). McClung has played nearly 29 minutes per night in Delaware and was recently selected to play in the NBA Futures game and participate in the Slam Dunk contest, becoming the first-ever G-League player to participate.
McClung has played four total games in the NBA over the last three seasons, averaging four points in 12.5 minutes per game. McClung will now get to show his skills off in the NBA when he’s called up, especially his ability to dunk the basketball.
