Trea Turner Hits Car Batting Practice

WATCH: Trea Turner hits a car while taking his first batting practice in Spring Training

Spring Training is underway for the Philadelphia Phillies down in Clearwater, Florida and we finally got our fist glimpse of Trea Turner in the batters box.

Yesterday, in his first batting practice in a Phillies uniform, Turner hit a ball that was reported as a home run by the Inky, but the video below makes it seem like it was a foul ball. Regardless, it landed with a loud thud after hitting someone’s parked car.

People around turner shouted at “CAR” and Turner responded with an “OH YEAH”, followed by a “Shouldn’t have parked there!” before quickly saying “SORRY!”.

Phillies hitting coach Kevin Long then said “I got $30 million reasons while you should park there.” which got a big laugh out of Kyle Schwarber.
