NBC Sports Philadelphia anchor Michael Barkann was finally released from his prison cell under the Wells Fargo Center and reappeared on television, only to give a scripted, cringeworthy apology after saying “bullshit” twice on air following the Eagles Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Michael Barkann hadn’t been seen on NBC Sports Philly for a few weeks after dropping the horrific word “bullshit” not once, but TWICE on air after the Super Bowl.

Ugh. Disgusting, Michael. That’s BULLSHIT.
You really hate to see this from Michael Barkann. You would have thought he just committed a mass murder, walked through the city screaming racial slurs, or was abusing puppies as he spoke about a “learning experience” and how he needs to get back to his traditional “values” and recognize how much of a “privilege” it is to “enter peoples homes”.
I have no idea who wrote that garbage or why NBC Sports Philadelphia would ever make someone like Barkann, who has been a staple of Philadelphia sports coverage for YEARS say this on live television.
A 50-second apology for saying bullshit, twice on air? Yikes.
I’ll never understand why television broadcasts think that this type of shit is necessary. No one, and I mean NO ONE, cares that Barkann, after the Eagles LOST THE SUPER BOWL, said bullshit on air.
If you do care, then I promise you, that the only person with a problem is you and not Barkann.
Also – Barkann completely folding and deciding to go through with this apology is pathetic. Get ahold of yourself dude. You should have came out and doubled-down yet again while questioning the Moon Landing like AJ Brown did last night. Have some balls, will ya?
