Honestly, I’m shocked that so many people miss Thybulle this much. Of course, vandalizing the mural on the side of Garage Fishtown was a dick move and people were rightfully outraged but now we’re changing street signs to say Matisse?
Seems a bit excessive.
I’m not one for conspiracy theories but maybe, just maybe, Matisse, a man of the arts and social media content, as a guerilla marketing campaign going to keep his name alive and well in the city of Philadelphia?
Really makes you think.
Side Note: Garage in Fishtown, as expected, has already painted over the Matisse Thybulle mural.
Thybulle has played better in Portland. Over his first four games as a Trailblazer, he was shooting nearly 44% from three point range on four attempts per game.
In his debut, Thybulle scored 15 points and snagged three rebounds. He was 5-for-6 from three point range.
