Rhys Hoskins carted off the field with a non-contact left knee injury

Phillies 1B Rhys Hoskins suffered a nasty knee injury just moments ago and had to be carted off the field.

Rhys Hoskins was backtracking a ground ball and seemed to get his knee twisted up. Hoskins immediately jumped after his foot hit the ground and was unable to stand up or even really move his knee once on the ground.

Hoskins was being looked at by the Phillies trainers, but EMTs eventually made their way out to the field. The cart came out, and Hoskins was unable to put pressure on his left leg.

There is no word on Hoskins since he was carted off. We’ll update you once more information is released.
