Six new MLB teams will wear Nike City Connect uniforms in 2023, the Philadelphia Phillies are not one of them

Major League Baseball will debut six new Nike City Connect uniforms in 2023 however, the Philadelphia Phillies are not one of of the teams selected.
The Braves, Rangers, Mariners, Reds, Orioles, and Pirates will all unveil new City Connect uniforms by late June, starting with Atlanta on April 8th.
Nike City Connect Uniforms: On-field Schedule
- Atlanta Braves: April 8
- Texas Rangers: April 21
- Seattle Mariners: May 5
- Cincinnati Reds: May 19
- Baltimore Orioles: May 26
- Pittsburgh Pirates: June 27
The six new teams will join 14 other clubs that have already worn City Connect uniforms, marking 20 total MLB teams to wear the special Nike attire.
No Love for the Philadelphia Phillies
Unfortunately, the Philadelphia Phillies won’t be one of the teams wearing new City Connect uniforms in the 2023 season, but will continue to rock the infamous Powder Blues as alternates at home, while sometimes wearing the red jerseys on the road instead of their typical gray.
One day, maybe we’ll finally get the return of the all maroon jerseys that the city desperately needs.

The MLB launched the Nike City Connect program during the 2021 season to honor the bond between teams and their respective home cities. Here in Philadelphia, it looks like we’ll have to wait at least another year.
Whatta crock! Didn’t we just compete in the world series? UNBELIEVABLE!😡
Hi Mr. Drew Smith. Here are my thoughts. My thoughts are that I feel like every team should have a City Connect Uniform. This is such a shame that the Phillies don’t have one. Why doesn’t every team have a City Connect Uniform? It would make the game of baseball so much cooler. Did anybody write to Rob Manfred or MLB about this issue? Can you please come read, follow, and subscribe to my blog? I am looking to expand my audience. So far I have 10 or 11 subscribers. It would mean a lot to me if you could be one too. Here is the link to my blog: https://sophiakd4.wordpress.com. Thank you so much Mr. Drew Smith.
