Preview: Sixers look to snap 3-game skid tonight at home against the Dallas Mavericks

The Philadelphia 76ers will look to end a three-game losing streak tonight as they return home to The Well to face the Dallas Mavericks.
With seven games left in the regular season, the Philadelphia 76ers trail the Boston Celtics by 2.5 games for the second seed in the East, while trailing the Milwaukee Bucks in first place by five games.

The Mavericks enter tonight 37-39 on the season, fighting for one of the lower playoff seeds left in the Western Conference. They are just 3-7 over their last 10 games and will take the court at The Well with a 15-23 on the road.
As of this afternoon, Joel Embiid (right calf) and James Harden (left Achilles) are both listed as questionable for tonight’s game.
All that I ask from Sixers fans is that they control their emotions tonight if both star players are ruled out of the game. I can’t stress it enough that none of these games actually matter and the only focus should be on entering the playoffs as healthy as possible.
I know it’s extremely frustrating but we have to stay the course and set our sights on winning an NBA Championship.
I would however, love to see Joel Embiid drop a 50 burger on Luka Doncic tonight, the guy who trails him for the NBA Scoring Title, but just like we’ll do for the rest of the regular season, we’ll have to just wait see who’s available to go.
