New Flyers’ uniforms coming with a throwback theme for the 2023-2024 season

According to reports, there will be some changes to the uniforms that the Flyers will be wearing for the 2023-2024 season.
Flyers Changing Home and Road Jerseys in 2023-2024
The changes are said to be coming to both the home and road uniforms, and the goal of the alterations in the design is to throw the uniforms back to the colors and themes of the 80’s and 90’s.
Now, if they could also throw back the team to the 80’s and 90’s where they were actually good? I would be eternally grateful.
Unfortunately, those changes are way too dramatic to possibly arrive by the 23-24 season. So, in the meantime, we’ll focus on the jerseys.
The most apparent change is in the orange, which is being altered to be darker and more crisp. A match of the orange that the team wore from inception in 1967 all the way to 1999.
Not: the colors in the above graphic happen to be reversed, which is a somewhat funny (and very easy) mistake to make.
It’s a VERY welcome change. The main difference is in the orange being darker and more crisp, which is a very welcome alteration in my book.
It isn’t a full reversion to the past. The black stripes around the sleeves of those original uniforms won’t be returning, and the nameplates will continue to be colored (instead of the basic black that was featured in those jerseys).

There will be no changes to the Flyers logo. And as the site says… nor should there be!
All in all, it seems like pretty fun changes. Though the most fun change this team could make obviously comes in July.
Namely, the 2023 draft.
Will Connor Bedard or Adam Fantilli be wearing these jerseys? That’d be one hell of a way to market them.
