Dalton Guthrie finds his way onto the 26-man roster for Opening Day due to Christian Pache not reporting to the team yet. Pache, who the team acquired on Wednesday, is out of options, leaving the Phils no choice but to have him on the 26-man roster.
In addition to the official roster, Nick Nelson, Cristopher Sanchez, Noah Song, and Ranger Suarez have been placed on the 15-day IL. Bryce Harper has been added to the 10-day IL, while Rafael Marchan heads to the 60-day.
Aaron Nola gets the ball for the 6th Opening Day in a row. Trea Turner will lead off in his Phils debut with Darick Hall in the cleanup spot. Jake Cave plays left, and Schwarber is the DH for Game #1.
