Four Games Left: Sixers host the Boston Celtics tonight in South Philadelphia

The Philadelphia 76ers return home tonight to host the Boston Celtics at The Well.Â
The Sixers will enter tonight in third place in the Eastern Conference Standings at 51-27. They are five games behind the East-leading Milwaukee Bucks and three games behind the second place Celtics with just four games left in the regular season.
Boston will enter tonight 3-0 against the Sixers this season and are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games against Philly. They have the conference and league’s second best record and a win tonight will officially lock them in to the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. Â
On the injury front, the Boston Celtics currently have Jaylen Brown listed as day-to-day while Robert Williams III will miss tonight’s game to rest a sore hamstring. For the Sixers, you can almost guarantee that the Embiid and Harden will be listed on the injury report, but will likely play tonight regardless.
The Sixers haven’t played well down the stretch. Whether you want to blame that on meaningless basketball games, injury management, or just bad play is totally up to you. Honestly, it’s probably a solid mixture of each. Philly has now lost four of six games, including a 117-104 loss to the Bucks in Milwaukee on Sunday night.Â

The Celtics are a tough team to beat, obviously. With Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown on the wings and a lackluster perimeter defense from the Sixers, there’s a clear mismatch that Boston can exploit tonight in South Philadelphia.
However…Sixers -2 (-110) and over 227.5.
