Phillies 1B Darick Hall has been removed from today’s game with a right thumb sprain.
Darick Hall Removed From Game in 5th Inning
Darick Hall roped a double off the right-field wall earlier in today’s game and tried to stretch an easy single to a double. He was thrown out at second but jammed his finger when sliding into the base. The trainers looked at Hall, and he played one more inning in the field but now is out of the game.
Alec Bohm has shifted over to first base, and Edmundo Sosa has entered the game at third. Phillies trail the Yankees 1-0 heading to the 6th inning.
