Favorite Super Hero? Phillies give their answers during series finale against the Cincinnati Reds

The Philadelphia Phillies ran a segment during today’s game at Citizens Bank Park against the Reds, asking players who their favorite super hero was, with Nick Castellanos, Brandon Marsh, and Alec Bohm answering the question.
Phillies Scoreboard Segment: Favorite Super Heroes
To be honest, I’m not really big on the super hero movies.
Marvel and Disney have overtaken American cinema and the results are less than stellar. I’m sure they are good action movies but outside of that, there’s little-to-no substance in any of the movies and I’m really not interested in any of them.Â
The Batman movies that Christopher Nolan did are the only good super hero movies but just like Brandon Marsh said in his answer, that’s likely because Batman doesn’t really have any powers outside of the fact that he’s a grinder. Plus, Christopher Nolan is amazing.
As for Nick Castellanos saying Scooby-Doo. I can get behind that. Scooby and company always get left out of the conversation as super heroes but if you stop and think about it, Scooby at least, is definitely a super hero.
He’s a talking, weed smoking, crime solving dog.Â
Fantastic answer.Â
I know the majority of people will love Alec Bohm’s answer. Moms are super heroes and deserve all the credit in the world. For example, take my mom, who raised three boys (shoutout to all the middle children), all two-years apart.
Solid answers all around. The Phillies game against the Reds today, however, wasn’t great. Bad base running and a miserable outing from Seranthony Dominguez doomed the Phillies in the series finale against the Reds today.
