Preview: Phillies make a significant lineup change as the Miami Marlins come to town

The Phillies take the field tonight at 6:40 EST as the Miami Marlins come to town for a three-game series.
Matt Strahm (0-0, 0.00 ERA) will get the ball for the Fightins, going up against 2022 NL Cy Young winner Sandy Alcantara (1-0, 1.84 ERA), who is coming off a complete-game shutout.
Sunday’s matinee wasn’t a pretty ending for the Phillies, as Seranthony Dominguez allowed a bases-clearing double in the top of the 9th inning to propel the Reds to a 6-4 win. The Phillies, now 3-6 on the year, currently sit 2.5 games back of the Atlanta Braves in the NL East.
Luckily, the team has a big opportunity to make up some ground after a tough first six games. They took two of three from Cincinnati this weekend, play three games against the Marlins to start this week, and then head to Cincy for another four games against a Reds team who isn’t very good.
Jean Segura returns to Citizens Bank Park tonight as a member of the Marlins and is set to get his National League Championship ring before tonight’s game. The Phils received their rings yesterday, including many minor-league players, and a special moment with Bryce and Rhys. Check out the full specs of the ring here.
Rob Thomson made a big change to his starting lineup tonight, with JT Realmuto getting a night off. Bryson Stott, the current team leader in batting average and hits, will lead off for the team tonight, followed by Turner, Schwarber, and Castellanos.
Phillies Starting Lineup vs. Sandy Alcantara
Brandon Marsh is in centerfield, with Jake Cave in right. Kody Clemens gets a chance against a righty, and Garrett Stubbs will be behind the plate to catch Strahm, who makes his second start of the season.

I think the Phils win a close one tonight. I like the under, along with the Phillies at +110.
