WATCH: Delco Pizza Delivery driver saves the day by tripping suspect to end a high-speed chase

A Delco pizza delivery driver saved the day yesterday by tripping a suspect involved in a high-speed police chase while attempting to drop food off to a customer.
Delco Pizza Delivery Driver Saves the Day
What an all-time performance.
The video starts out with a few “Oh Shit!” comments from the driver as he was just wondering what the hell was happening at the entrance of the neighborhood.
He then transitions right into “protect my car” mode, while still holding the customer’s order. He walks out to the end of the sidewalk and sees this guy ditch his vehicle and starts running in his direction.
Then he delivered one of the best leg kicks / trips I have ever seen, sending this dude flying down the sidewalk before the cops finally caught up and arrested him.
It’s so amazing to see how people react in these situations. The delivery driver just didn’t want his car to get hit and was repeatedly calling the guy an asshole, only to find himself still holding the customer’s order and tripping the suspect so the cops could catch up and arrest him.
The fact that he never even drops the food and then takes a step back to think about his next move before leaning right into the leg kick that sent this dude flying down the sidewalk is incredible.
The video was originally posted by Cocco’s Pizza in Aston and the hero’s name is Tyler Morrell.
Here’s what he told local news stations this morning.

“A car just came up doing like 75, he beached on the side of this person’s lawn and almost took out a couple of cars,” recalled Morell.
What Morell thought was going to be a normal pizza delivery ended up planting him in the middle of a police pursuit.
According to Brookhaven police, just after 3:30 p.m., officers were in pursuit of a stolen Kia from Upper Darby.
The stolen car crashed along Preston Street in Middletown Township, and the suspect got out of the car to flee the scene. That’s when Morell stepped in.
Or rather, Morell stepped out.
“I started walking towards the road, but I couldn’t do anything with my hands because I’m holding the pizza, so I just stuck my leg out,” he said.
Side Note: Tyler saying that he couldn’t do anything with his hands because he holding the pizza is hilarious.
Morell was able to stick his leg out enough to trip the suspect, causing the man to tumble to the ground, where police arrested him.
Police say because of Morell’s quick thinking, they were able to make the arrest.
“He gave us the help we needed, by tripping him it gave us the time to catch up with the gentleman,” said Brookhaven Chief of Police Michael Vice.
“I am so sick of seeing crime go on, especially half a mile down the road,” said Morell. “So if they needed a hand or a foot, I was there.”
Officers were also able to arrest a second suspect in this incident, who had been sitting in the stolen vehicle while the action went down.
