Phillies vs. White Sox game postponed due to weather, double-header will be played on Tuesday

Tonight’s series opener between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Chicago White Sox has been delayed due to inclement weather, per Jesse Rogers of ESPN.
Phillies vs. White Sox Postponed Due to High Winds and Cold Temperatures
It’s currently 33 degrees in Chicago with a mix of rain and sleet. Major League Baseball and the two teams came to an agreement that a baseball game should not be played in today’s weather, which could turn into snow by time tonight’s game would’ve started.
Official Statement from the Chicago White Sox
The game will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader tomorrow starting at 3:10 PM CT (4:10 EST). The second game will begin approximately 30-45 minutes following the conclusion of the opener, but not before 6:10 CT (7:10 EST). Parking lots and gates will open tomorrow at 2:10 CT.
The Phillies will now need a sixth starter for Saturday’s game. They’ll play five games in four days vs. the White Sox and Rockies. Colorado comes to CBP this weekend, so it’s safe to say the Phils will call up an arm to start the 4:05 game Saturday, most likely Michael Plassmeyer.
