WATCH: James Harden seen slapping someone outside of a Las Vegas hotel; internet overreacts, per usual

Earlier this week, James Harden utilized one of his days off after the Brooklyn Nets series and headed to Las Vegas.
This morning, TMZ released a video they obtained of Harden at the Flamingo on the Strip around 1:25AM Monday morning, just two days after Philadelphia swept its opening round playoff series over the Nets, tapping some bozo on the chest and then gently “slapping” his face.
WATCH: James Harden slaps a man in Las Vegas
Okay so obviously, when you wake up and see a headline about Harden slapping someone in Las Vegas, the normal response is “oh shit” but I really couldn’t be any happier. All this video shows me is that Harden is locked in and completely unbothered by the NBA playoffs that he chose to fly across the country after the Brooklyn series for a night out in Vegas.
Side Note: It always amazes me the different level of life that professional athletes live. Harden just got done a playoff series, had a day off, and decided to fly to Vegas with his friends. That’s so sick. Me and my friends can barely pick what dive bar we want to go to on the weekends.
Anyways, talk about a non-story. The TMZ report continues by saying that the guy Harden “slapped” was actually a member of his crew. There were no cops called, no reports filed, and all we are left with is some blurry video from some weirdo stalking Harden while he’s trying to enjoy a night out with the fellas in the desert.
Of course, this is just the perfect timing for someone to release this video. The Celtics wrapped up their first round series with the Atlanta Hawks last night and now we are on a direct collision course with Boston starting Monday night on the road. Makes perfect since that this video dropped when it did, right?
What they didn’t expect, is the fact that everyone actually wants Club Harden back in the mix. This might be the greatest news ever and after thinking that the Sixers would need at least six games to beat the Celtics, that just dropped down to a friendly gentleman’s sweep after this video.
James Harden is locked in and ready for Round 2. Game 1 vs. the Boston Celtics takes place Monday night.
