Citizens Bank Park employee upset with Phillies Dollar Dog Nights, places blame on Hot Dog King Kyle Pagan from Crossing Broad

An employee at Citizens Bank Park went on TikTok to share her (negative) opinions on the Philadelphia Phillies Dollar Dog Nights while also taking a shot at Crossing Broad’s Kyle Pagan.
Quick backstory…
Last season, Pagan reached out to Senator Casey to see if he could aide him in the campaign to add more Dollar Dog Nights to the Phillies schedule.
At the time there were only two scheduled for the entire year while other ballparks have some scheduled WEEKLY.
That’s pretty insane if you stop and think about it and at that point, Pagan should really have been considered a hero rather than an enemy of the realm.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that was the case. Instead of crowning Pagan the Hot Dog King, it appears that people were upset with the fact he was trying to bring more dogs to CBP last season and the anger has now carried over into 2023.

“The kid Kyle that petitioned to bring it back, I don’t like you.”
Damn that’s pretty harsh.
Reminds me of what happened earlier this week when I went out on a limb and asked a girl for her number, only to have her reach out and then ghost me after a few innocent text messages.
Regardless, this isn’t about me, it’s about Pagan and The Liberty Line standing in solidarity with Crossing Broad against the dark forces that live in the depths of this city.
Listen, I understand that Dollar Dog Nights have turned into a full blown circus down at Citizens Bank Park but we can’t be complaining about something that happens two or three times every baseball season.
At best, any employee down a the bank that doesn’t want to be a part of it should just take the day off or really, just find another job. We need to get everyone on the same page. The official start of the 2023 MLB season is June 1st and we can’t enter the real season divided.
This is a call for ballpark unity.
The Dollar Dog Wave is a tremendous ballpark innovation and when you have other teams going crazy with in-game experiences, Citizens Bank Park needs something of their own to keep up. Just a few hours down 95 the Baltimore Orioles have the Bird Bath.
Here in Philly, we’re still looking for our thing. I suggested “The Marshland” out in right center where we create a marsh with animal costumes, some type of water activities, beers, and whatever else is needed.
You also have the Rotisserie Chicken-Towels that could be used as a rally cry in the stands this summer.
Jose Alvarado is making a ton of them in the bullpen and dugout already.
One thing is for sure. As Pagan said in his recent article…
Less TikToks. More Hot Dogs.
Phillies are back in action tonight, opening up a weekend series with the Chicago Cubs.
