WATCH: Nolan Smith doesn’t care about cold weather, just wants to be on the field hitting people

Eagles’ first-round pick Nolan Smith is going to be a fan favorite here in Philadelphia.
The 22-year old pass rusher pick sat down with former Eagles player Chris Long for an episode of the Green Light Podcast and discussed a variety of topics regarding football, getting to know his teammates, and playing football in the northern weather compared to the south.
You can watch the full episode below, but clearly, one of the clips going around social media was a winner. Long asked Smith about playing in cold weather, and he responded with a quote that will make you run through the closest brick wall.
Nolan Smith on Playing in Cold Weather
“I don’t mind it. I don’t care…As long as I get to go out there and hit a motherfucker. I don’t really care about none of that shit. And you get warmer the more you hit people. I tell people that.”
Smith, who spent three years as a member of the Georgia Bulldogs with Jalen Carter, won three straight New Year’s Six Bowls, an SEC Championship, and back-to-back National Championships.
Between his most recent interview with Chris Long, to his draft day watch party, Smith is destined to be a fan favorite here in Philadelphia.
That of course all depends how he performs on the field.
