Best Home Run Picks, MLB Picks & Predictions 6.2

We’ve got a full slate of MLB games today, along with not a lot of aces on the mound either. What that means for us, of course, is that we have some pretty juicy MLB home run props to lock in.
So, let’s get started.
Matt Chapman to hit a Home Run | +440 at FanDuel
I understand the initial fear of backing a Blue Jays player, as they are playing the Mets with Justin Verlander pitching. But, with that said, Verlander is having a rough start to his season, and he hasn’t yet shown any signs of turning it around.
Overall, Verlander has a 4.80 ERA in 5 games started and has given up 5 home runs in 30 innings pitched. Keep in mind that last year he pitched 175 innings and only gave up 12 home runs.
In his last start alone he went up against the Rockies and gave up 6 earned runs in only 5 innings pitched. So, Verlander clearly has some kinks to work out as he attempts to round into form.
As for Chapman, he is having a pretty good year himself. He has 8 dingers on the year and just hit one last night. That’ll be 9 after tonight.

Juan Soto to hit a Home Run | +470 at FanDuel
Soto, and the Padres hitters as a whole, have about the juiciest pitching matchup you can go against. They are matched up with the Cubs, who have Jameson Taillon on the mound. Taillon has an astounding 8.04 ERA and has given up 5 home runs in only 21 innings pitched. So, even worse than Verlander!
The Cubs are middle of the pack in terms of home runs allowed by their bullpen as well, so even if they chase Taillon out early Soto will still be able to have success.
Soto himself isn’t having the greatest start to the season if we are being honest with ourselves. He is only batting .259 on the season, with 10 home runs. This is after starting his career batting either around or above .300 for the first four seasons of his career.
He does have 2 home runs in his last ten games played, and if there was ever a time for him to go on a heater, it would be this game against the Cubs.
