Dinger Tuesday: Best FanDuel Home Run Picks, MLB Picks & Predictions 6.20

It’s taco Dinger Tuesday, and we got some home run props for you guys to lock in.
Due to how the promotion works, my strategy when it comes to Dinger Tuesday is to identify games that are likely to have the most home runs hit and then find the best individual value from there.
Below, check out our two favorite picks! Let’s dive in.
Nolan Jones to Hit a Home Run | +500 at FanDuel
We went with Jones yesterday to no luck, but we are riding with him once again today. We correctly identified this Rockies/Reds game to feature a lot of home runs, as four home runs were hit, just none from Jones. We think he rights that wrong today.
The game at Reds stadium is once again as juicy as it gets for positive weather correlation, and pretty much all the reasons to back Jones from yesterday still apply today.
The home runs haven’t come yet for Jones, but there’s reason to believe that will happen soon. He has an ISO (isolated power) rate of 24%, which would rank him 20th in the MLB if he had enough plate appearances to qualify, ahead of studs such as Ronald Acuna Jr, Mike Trout, and Nolan Arenado.
Bryce Harper to Hit a Home Run | +500 at FanDuel
I understand there might be a lot of pause on this one, so let’s chat about it. First things first, Spencer Strider is on the mound for the Braves. I’m not going to sit here and say that Strider is a bad pitcher or anything like that, but he has gotten dinged up in his past two starts.
Against the Mets and Tigers, he gave up a combined five home runs in those two starts, and his ERA increased from 2.97 to 4.12 as well. Also, we all remember what happened last time Strider pitched at Citizens Bank Park.
Now when it comes to Bryce, he has played well since he came back from Tommy John surgery, but the power clearly isn’t there. This makes sense, as Bryce came back significantly earlier than initially projected, so it is understandable that he needs some time to get his strength back. This lack of power is evidenced by a low ISO rate (which measures power) of 12.5%, but a high barrel rate (which measures contact) of 7.8%.
Bryce’s initial timetable was around July 4th, so him being close to that date leaves hope that his strength will come back soon. I can think of no better time than to smack one deep against the Phillies’ rival in the Braves and Spencer Strider.
