Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin held his annual “White Party” over the weekend and all of the sports world’s biggest stars were in attendance.

Look, I completely understand that people clown on Michael Rubin for these extravagant parties but at the same time, can you really blame him?

When you’re rich as a fuck, what else are you supposed to do outside of befriending Hollywood stars and professional athletes and throwing parties to flood social media with pictures and videos? 

While I definitely find it lame, I have a hard time believing that anyone would turn down an invite to one of Rubin’s parties. When I eventually sell The Liberty Line for millions of dollars, I’ll get dressed in all white and take weird pictures with Rubin like he did with Joel Embiid over the weekend no problem.

Joining Joel Embiid at Rubin’s party were his two current teammates, Tobias Harris and James Harden. That is exactly what the Philadelphia 76ers fanbase wanted to see as we head into the summer months of the NBA offseason. I mean seriously, who doesn’t want to “run it back” with these three guys?

So yeah, while the current state of the Philadelphia 76ers is in complete and utter shambles heading into next season, it always warms the hearts of the Sixers faithful to see their guys out there partying together with the rich and famous.

Don’t get it twisted. I don’t mind our guys enjoying themselves in the offseason, I’m just upset that the same guys are likely to return next season after yet another disappointing second round exit.
