James Harden, a guy with zero self-awareness, thinks people will care that he wants to get ‘uncomfortable’ as he tries to force his way out of Philadelphia

James Harden wants everyone to know that things are about to get “uncomfortable” this summer as he awaits what he hopes to be a trade to the Los Angeles Clippers ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season.
Harden, like the diva we all know he is, took to Instagram earlier this week and posted a message to his followers, letting them know that he has been “comfortable for too long” and that it is now time to “get uncomfortable.”
James Harden Instagram Post
Cool. This is a tale as old as time and honestly, I’m not impressed in the slightest.
A disgruntled star athlete posting cryptic messages on his social media accounts, just a few days after he removed all 76ers affiliation from the mentioned social media accounts?
Color me surprised, James. This was the most predictable shit ever.
You’re not fooling anyone with your cryptic, teenage-like messages and ridiculous social media updates.

The only thing uncomfortable here is the fact that you’re acting like this in your mid-30’s while trying to force your way out of Philadelphia, which would be the third time in basically as many years after leaving Houston and Brooklyn.
My Message to James Harden
I honestly think that James Harden might be stupid. He is so unaware of how people view him and thinks that everyone should be on his side and just cater to his every demand when in reality, no one cares.
Seriously. There wasn’t a single offer on the table in free agency so James Harden opted in to his player option to remain in Philadelphia, while also expecting to be traded. None of that would have happened if there was any type of deal on the table elsewhere.
Unfortunately, no one really wants James Harden on their basketball team anymore.
Why would they?
This guy plays for a season then packs up his shit and demands to be traded. On the basketball court, he’s clearly regressed from the player he once was while still believing that he’s one of the best in the NBA. He’s annoying and makes everyone else uncomfortable by dribbling the ball for 15 seconds and then throwing up a three pointer while shooting 3-15 from the floor on a nightly basis.
So really, how long is too long for James Harden to be “comfortable”?
James Harden has been on the Sixers for 1.5 seasons. Now he wants to get “uncomfortable” again by demanding a ticket out of Philly and expects people to support that type of behavior?
I got news for you, James. Philadelphia and Sixers fans specifically have been uncomfortable for years.
We live in a constant state of being uncomfortable and really, Harden doesn’t even come close in moving that needle one way or another.

We dealt with Ben Simmons already. Harden’s now ex-boyfriend Daryl Morey isn’t going to just trade you for nothing in return and Sixers fans are completely fed up with this basketball team and organization.
James Harden is literally the least of anyone’s worries, assuming that fans will actually tune in next season given what’s happened over the past 5+ years. The Sixers are on a collision course with irrelevancy in this city as the Phillies and more specifically the Eagles continue to earn the respect of sports fans in Philadelphia.
After what we witnessed last year, coupled with yet another drama filled storyline, my guess is the Sixers will be kept at arms length for months before anyone even decides to pay attention.
Hopefully by that time, James Harden will be nowhere near Philadelphia.
