Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Michael Lorenzen threw a no-hitter tonight against the Washington Nationals in just his second start since joining the club at the MLB Trade Deadline.Â
Lorenzen pitched a 124-pitch masterclass which resulted in a no hitter and first complete game of his career. He struck out five and walked four, throwing 76 of 124 pitches for strikes while inducing 12 fly-ball outs.Â
