Have you ever thought, “Man, I really wish I could hear Merrill Reese’s angelic voice say things like ‘no cap’ or ‘that was lowkey bussin'”? Well, you’re in luck.
This week, Reese joined the Ross Tucker Podcast to preview the Eagles first preseason game this Saturday. After talking Birds for a bit, Tucker had the Eagles play-by-play announcer read a passage with Gen Z slang riddled throughout it.
It’s truly a sight to behold.

The best part here has to be when Merrill Reese was asked if he had ever heard any of those slang terms before. “None.”
While this was a good funny bit, I would be furious if he ever used any of these words in actual broadcast. I don’t really know why either. Maybe I’m just getting old.
