Eagles pass-rusher Derek Barnett could be on the move.
Per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Barnett and his agent are gauging the market for a potential trade.

The Eagles restructured Barnett’s deal in July to lessen his max value, but with an edge rotation that features Haason Reddick, Nolan Smith, Josh Sweat, and Brandon Graham — available snaps are hard to come by.
Barnett, 27, is a former first-round pick who hasn’t lived up to expectations but is still a quality depth piece. Barnett was one of the unsung heroes in Philadelphia’s lone Super Bowl victory, recovering Brandon Graham’s strip-sack on Tom Brady late in the 4th quarter. He missed the entire 2022 season after suffering a torn ACL in Week 1.
In the season prior, Barnett recorded 46 tackles (7 for loss), 11 QB hits, and 2.0 sacks. He’s developed a bit of a reputation as a dirty player, responsible for 26 penalties in his career. Of those calls, 11 of them were either unnecessary roughness or roughing the passer. Barnett was involved in multiple scuffles this summer.
As Fowler mentioned above, the Eagles would prefer to keep Barnett if possible.
This story is developing.
Doesn’t sound like Nick Sirianni was happy with Derek Barnett pushing Landon Dickerson after the play on Weds
