NFL Week 1 Player Props
Sick of always “playing it safe” on Sundays? I am too.
Sure, you’ll always find value in the spread and totals on NFL Sunday but that’s not turning any eyeballs at whatever watch party you’re attending tomorrow. There’s absolutely zero reason to show up to your friends house and be stuck in a conversation about how you decided to bet $10 on the Eagles -4 against the Patriots.
Listen, I get it. That bet will hit for you, but from a social perspective, build yourself a nice little parlay with the picks below and get shit moving early tomorrow.Â
J.K. Dobbins Over 56.5 rushing yards | (-125)
The first one that I personally love is J.K. Dobbins over 56.5 rushing yards (-125). After sitting out of the 2021 season and the first half of 2022 with a knee injury, Dobbins made a triumphant return, amassing 520 rushing yards with an average of 5.7 yards per carry in eight games. He really turned it on in the final four games, where he averaged 99 yards per game, along with an impressive 6.9 yards per attempt.
Dobbins faces minimal competition for carries within Baltimore’s offensive scheme and is poised to exploit a favorable matchup. Houston’s run defense struggled mightily in the previous season, ranking among the NFL’s worst.
In 2022, the Texans surrendered an alarming 170 rushing yards per game, with opposing rushers gaining an average of 5.1 yards per carry, marking the fourth-highest in the league.
Ravens head coach Jim Harbaugh is keen on setting the tone in their Week 1 home matchup, and J.K. Dobbins is expected to play a significant role in the Ravens’ game plan.
Note: Ravens (-9.5) is the heaviest favorite in the week 1 NFL odds.
George Pickens Anytime Touchdown scorer | (+230)
The George Pickens hype is honestly out of control. I personally live between Philadelphia, PA, and Harrisburg; which is home to a lot of Steelers fans who swear Pickens is somehow better than Justin Jefferson already.. With that in mind, this prop better hit, and if it doesn’t I blame all these annoying Steelers fans.

Calvin Ridley Over 63.5 Receiving Yards | (-115)
After Trevor Lawrence’s impressive second-half performance in 2022, the Jacksonville Jaguars have eagerly anticipated the dynamic pairing of T-Law and Calvin Ridley.
Ridley was acquired by the Jags midseason while serving a year-long suspension, and he’s come into the preseason looking revitalized, with reports suggesting he’s faster than ever. Head coach Doug Pederson aims to integrate his top target into the game plan immediately.
Many forget Ridley was among the best wide receivers in the NFL before the suspension. Few receivers have as much hype behind them heading into this season as Ridley.
Unfortunately, sportsbooks have caught onto that, and his receiving yardage prop keeps increasing. I’d still take the over, but if you don’t feel comfortable with it, another one I like is Ridley’s longest reception over 22.5 yards.
