Vibe Check: Phillies celebrate clinching No. 1 Wild Card, trip to the 2023 MLB postseason

The Philadelphia Phillies clinched a postseason berth and the No. 1 spot in the National League Wild Card last night in walk off fashion against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

One thing is for sure. No other team in Major League Baseball knows how to celebrate quite like the Philadelphia Phillies. I mean seriously, take a look at the “celebration” that happened in Milwaukee after the Brewers clinched the AL Central last night.

How could anyone be excited about playoff baseball while rooting for these guys?

Clearly, the Brewers are missing someone in their clubhouse like Garrett Stubbs, who continued his Hall of Fame career as the ultimate vibes guy after the Phillies clinched the No. 1 Wild Card spot in walk off fashion against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

At Citizens Bank Park last night, it wasn’t just Stubbs bringing the vibes. Rodolfo Castro, who’s only been in a Phillies uniform since the MLB Trade Deadline and probably won’t even make the postseason roster, made a case to keep him around in October with this performance in the locker room.
