MLB Winter Meetings are underway in Nashville, Tennessee and I have a few updates for…

Phillies fans were demanding that Liam Castellanos stays in Philadelphia following his dad’s incredible performances in Game 3 and 4 of the NLDS
I mean there’s just too much to write about Nick Castellanos and what he did in Game 3 and Game 4 of the NLDS against the Atlanta Braves.
Castellanos had himself one hell of a week down at Citizens Bank Park. In Game 3 against the Braves, he belted two home runs as the Phillies destroyed the Atlanta Braves 10-2.
Last night, with an opportunity to clinch the series against the Braves in Game 4, Nick Castellanos hit TWO MORE home runs as the Phillies sent the Braves back to Atlanta, winning 3-1.

On top of that, Castellanos, like he typically does, delivered two of the most epic postgame interviews Major League Baseball has ever seen. All of this was done in with his son Liam, who’s become a superstar of his own right at CBP, in attendance.

Liam lives in Miami, Florida and is currently in school but managed to get back to Philly for the two NLDS home games. As you can see above, his dad Nick went absolutely bonkers and the Phillies won both games. That prompted everyone on social media to start demanding that school was worthless and Liam needs to be in South Philly for the remainder of the playoffs.

That prompted Jess Castellanos, the wife of Nick and defender of buttoned up Phillies’ jerseys on the field to clear things up on social media, releasing a PSA on Twitter stating that friend of the website and nana to Liam, Michelle Castellanos actually home schools Liam, giving him the option to get homework done in Philly for the playoffs before returning to Florida.
Gotta love Phillies fans, who were offering to home school Liam and do his homework while he was still in the Philly area. Unbelievable support for the Castellanos family.

Thank you all for the offers of teaching him, traveling with him back and forth from Florida, and the option of you guys doing his homework for him.
But we’re good he’s here and we’re doing SWELL, happy red October !
Honestly, I couldn’t be happier for the Castellanos family. Philly tough. Stuck it out last year when things weren’t going to well and now Nick is having himself a legendary postseason after an incredible regular season that landed him on the NL All-Star Team.
The Phillies even lifted Liam up like Simba from the Lion King at Xfinity Live postgame

Of course, there are 8 more games left to be played. Nick is clearly locked in and I have no doubts that the rest of the Castellanos family, including Liam, will be ready to rock on Monday night as the Phillies host the Arizona Diamondbacks in Game 1 of the NLCS at Citizens Bank Park.
Awesome feel good article Drew. I love being a Philly guy. In other parts of country when you tell them you’re from Philly in brings a certain respect!
