WATCH: James Harden arriving to the Los Angeles Clippers locker room was one of the most bizarre videos ever

In just a 24 second video clip of James Harden walking into the Los Angeles Clippers locker room yesterday, we are hit with a million questions. Stay with me because there’s a lot to unpack here.

Immediately while watching the video, it’s clear that locker room is horrible. I understand the Clippers are in the process of building a new arena but my god, can someone please clean that place up a little bit? What are those chairs? Are they from the discount rack at Staples? 

Also, can someone please explain to me what James Harden is doing? He looks like an awkward nerd walking into a new class on the first day of school. Did he forget how to walk?

That weird entrance with his arms down by his side circling around the locker room while saying hello to Russell Westbrook creeped me out. Then you have Russ, who I think was trying to make a joke about Harden sitting on the other side of the room, just sat in his desk chair awkwardly standing up to shake Harden’s hand as he approached him.

What a bizarre interaction. It’s almost like he was expecting some grand round of applause upon entry but in reality, there was no one in the locker room besides Westbrook and Terrance Mann. Speaking of Mann, it’s clear he realizes that he’s now trapped in hell. No shot he’s going to get the basketball now that Harden has arrived.

That’s the look of a young player who knows there’s going to be a ton of dribbling at the top of the key and then either drives to the basket looking for fouls or Harden dishing the ball out to one of the other old dudes on the team in Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard, or Paul George. 

James Harden has three phones. Why? I have no idea. I guess I can understand if you have a work phone and a personal phone but what’s the third phone for exactly?

Is that the “I need to be traded phone” or possibly a phone strictly to use when he needs a late night table at the strip club?

Who knows. I do know that the entire video was weird and I can’t imagine the Clippers, with all of these veterans playing together, actually working out in their favor.
