The Philadelphia 76ers finally returned to the basketball court last night, beating the Washington Wizards…

Patrick Beverley sends reminder to Toronto Raptors after 76ers beat them for the second time this season
Patrick Beverley was back at it again on social media last night following the Philadelphia 76ers 114-99 win over the Toronto Raptors last night at the Wells Fargo Center.
Just last week, the 76ers beat the Raptors on the road 114-107. Ahead of their first matchup of the season, Beverley was on his self-titled podcast “Pat Bev Pod with Rone” talking about how Toronto had “no dogs” on the roster and how he he wouldn’t even be scared if he was walking down a dark alley and ran into Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby.
Patrick Beverley on the Pat Bev Pod: “Who’s the dog of that team? If I see Siakam or Anunoby down a dark alley, I don’t feel threatened.”
Patrick Beverly: Toronto Raptors have No Dogs on the roster
After the first game, Beverley took to Twitter to remind everyone of the segment, stating yet again that the Toronto Raptors have no dogs on their roster.
Patrick Beverley: ‘Like I said. No dogs.’
That brought us to last night’s victory for the Sixers over the Raptors, this time at home in South Philadelphia. Following the win, Pat Bev was back on Twitter reminding everyone yet again that the Toronto Raptors have no dogs on their roster.
“Like I said time and time again,” Beverley wrote. “No Dogs @PatBevPod”
Gotta love it. I don’t care what Patrick Beverley does on the offensive side of the court as long as he continues to bring that energy defensively and with his shit talking.
For whatever reason, “No Dogs” is absolutely hilarious and I wish he would continue to talk trash on any opponent that the Sixers face for the remainder of the season. The 76ers have jumped out to a 3-1 record this season and have been playing some damn good basketball under new head coach Nick Nurse.
Joel Embiid was dominant last night against the Raptors, stuffing the stat sheet with 28 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists. Kelly Oubre Jr and Tobias Harris each scoring 23 points while Tyrese Maxey scored 18 points in the win.
Tobias Harris: 23 PTS | 7 REB | 3 AST | 3 STL
