Shai Gilgeous-Alexander backed out of $6 million dream home due to blood-thristy killers showing up daily to find the previous ‘Crypto King’ owner Aiden Pleterski
Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is reportedly backing out of a $6 million home because a bunch of blood-thristy gangsters keep showing up trying to track down and kill the previous owner, who was a “Crypto King” by the name of Aiden Pleterski.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leaving $6.1 home due to previous Crypto King owner Aiden Pleterski
The six-bedroom, 10,000-square-foot house on Lake Ontario that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander… bought for… $6.1 million, should have been a dream home.
In his lawsuit, Mr. Gilgeous-Alexander said that two days after he moved in a man appeared demanding to see someone he had never heard of — Mr. Pleterski. Rather than leave when told that no one by that name was there, the uninvited visitor looked around the property and then sat in his car in the driveway.
The young N.B.A. player’s house… had been the home of Aiden Pleterski, a self-styled “crypto king” who declared bankruptcy in 2022, while owing 26.8 million Canadian dollars to more than 150 investment clients.
Court records show that the home received a steady stream of angry visitors seeking to talk to Mr. Pleterski while he was living there and after he moved out…(via NYT)
For crypto guys that spend the majority (if not all) of their time in front of computer screens, I find this to be pretty unacceptable behavior. You mean to tell me none of these nerds can figure out that Aiden Pleterski no longer lives at this residence?
Not to mention, there was a fella named Mr. Gupta that lived at the property in between Pleterski and Shai who shocker moved out because of all the “unwanted visitors” that kept showing up looking for blood.
More from NYT…
In a response to Mr. Gilgeous-Alexander’s complaint, Mr. Gupta’s company downplayed the frequency and potential danger brought by the uninvited visitors and argued that it had no obligation to disclose the persistence of the unwelcome guests.
“Notwithstanding the fact that Aiden was abducted, any visit to the Property by an individual inquiring about its former occupant would be viewed as an entirely normal occurrence,” it said.
LOL. Yeah okay. So I guess if you just ignore the fact that the previous owner was kidnapped and tortured for three days, it is in fact totally normal to have daily visitors showing up at all hours to finish the job.
Have you ever lived or heard of anyone who had to deal with this type of situation? Yeah, me neither.
After a quick Google search, looks like the “Crypto King” is pretty easy to find. He was already kidnapped and beaten to a pulp once by one of his investors along with four others men. The entire thing was caught on video and Mr Aiden Pleterski was left looking like this…
Aiden Pleterski After Kidnapping

So what did this guy do exactly? Much like all these crypto nerds, he took millions in investments for whatever dumb crypto thing he was doing and then didn’t do anything with the money besides keep it and file for bankruptcy.
Side Note: The more I read about this dude, the more I support the ones looking to track him down to kill him. That’s not to say I would partake in a blood sacrifice but sometimes people just deserve to be killed, ya know?
However, I do feel for SGA. Imagine rolling up to this house and thinking you’re there to beat the living hell out of some nerd only to find out that it’s actually 6’6” Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with a 6’11” wingspan and his crew who answers the door.

That would be bad news for everyone. I do believe that Shai could have sacrificed his teammate Josh Giddey and passed him off as Aiden Pleterski. To keep the blood thirsty heathens at bay, but apparently it’s too late and he will be backing out, looking for residence elsewhere.
